One very effective mode of stop snoring remedy is singing. Surgery is Not a Complete Cure
Sleep apnea is probably the most critical cause of snoring, in that it literally takes your breath away. Snoring is sometimes related to obstructive sleep apnea which is when your airway becomes locked while you sleep. This causes your carbon dioxide level to increase which triggers a reflex to wake up and take a breath.
A person with sleep apnea may wake up several times during the night and not even realize they are waking up. They wont have any idea of the seriousness of the problem; theyll just feel tired during the day.
In extreme cases an operation called uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, performed by a surgeon, may trim or tighten the uvula, to remove excess tissue which could be restricting your airway. This operation is usually done under general anesthesia whereas laser surgery, called laser assisted uvulopalatoplasty, is performed as an outpatient.
